Mizuno Wave Rider 19, one of the top of the range of the Japanese brand launches new version. Although more than a new version we are talking about a restyling since the changes are not too noticeable. There is little to change when a model gives such good results.
Among the improvements we are going to find in this new version is its cushioning. Its U4ic system has been improved to gain reactivity without losing cushioning.
It has also added a sock liner that now allows for a better fit, something that was partly lost in the 18 version compared to the 17.
The model maintains the excellent cushioning, fit and durability and its light weight. This makes it an ideal choice for runners up to 75-85 kg who want to run at all paces. Even under 4.15m/km for all distances up to marathon.
The upper has been slightly reworked to avoid toe chafing. With more comfortable materials in contact with our feet.
What still does not convince us is the upper, still with seams and with a certain old aesthetic.
