The second version of one of the most versatile running shoes from the brand, the Salomon Aero Blaze 2, is now available.

The Salomon Aero Blaze 2 is a running shoe that offers a great combination of cushioning and reactivity, which is vital if we want to run faster.

Main features: Salomon Aero Blaze 2

Salomon is known worldwide for its trail models but, especially during the last few seasons, it is strengthening its running shoes range with models that adapt to a wide range of runners, from the fastest, to those who need shoes with more cushioning.

The upper has an improved fit with respect to the Salomon Aero Blaze, as it improves comfort thanks to its soft and lightweight materials, padded tongue, and an upper that fits perfectly to the foot.

The midsole has Energy Foam technology that perfectly combines cushioning with the necessary dynamism for those workouts in which we want to go faster, and that will also provide us with great reactivity.

The outsole has one of the most popular and recognized compounds of the brand: Contagrip rubber, which guarantees great durability and traction on road surfaces, but also works reasonably well on tracks and trails with compacted soil.

Ideal profile: Salomon Aero Blaze 2

This is the most versatile shoe in the brand's Aero range, and adapts to a wider profile of runners.

Runners up to 70 kilos, with neutral stride technique, should consider the Salomon Aero Blaze 2. In terms of pace, it is a shoe in which we will be very comfortable running at medium paces. We can occasionally demand a little more speed without problems.

Recommended distances: Salomon Aero Blaze 2

Great for training and competitions between 15 and 25km, since for shorter or longer distances the other two shoes in the brand's Aero range are better suited.

As for the technical specifications, the drop of the shoe remains at 8mm, but the profiles have been slightly increased in this second version, with 24mm in the front and 32mm in the rear of the shoe.

In terms of weight, this is a lightweight shoe, at just 229 grams in the men's version and 196 grams in the women's.

The Salomon Aero Blaze 2 is a training shoe that offers good cushioning without skimping on rebound and reactivity. Versatility is the word that best defines this shoe. It's lightweight, dynamic and comfortable to use for a daily workouts.
