Salomon is still in full reconversion and makes it clear with the release of some of the most special and innovative trail running models. As we saw the arrival of the Salomon Thundercross, this time it is the turn of the Salomon Metacross.
The Salomon Metacross are trail runningshoes that conform as a model that goes a little further than the already legendary Supercross. With the same philosophy but with a quality technical framework, it will provide an aggressive alternative for all those outings on technical and even muddy terrain, but this time, at higher paces.
These Metacross are a new trail running model from Salomon inspired by the silhouettes of the Supercross line of the French company. With a philosophy totally similar to them, it is a model that will provide more speed and dynamism, as well as protection, thanks to a construction through Matryx fabric of last generation.
It is a model that, as we have advanced, is quite similar to the Salomon Supercross 4, but, unlike these, it offers a lighter and thinner constitution. Features that launch it to have a light weight of no more and no less than 287 grams, below the barrier of 300.
Knowing all these details and characteristics of the new training and competition model from Salomon, we can assure that it will be a model oriented to runners of medium-low weight. Runner profiles of less than 80 kilos can perfectly enjoy the aggressiveness and dynamism of its set, as long as they are accustomed to technical and / or muddy terrain.
In short, we are talking about a model for men and women of the most complete, but somewhat more specific in terms of terrain and distances, as already happened with the aforementioned Salomon Thundercross. Although it has features that allow you to enjoy them for kilometers, its target distance will be medium distances of no more than 21 or 42 kilometers.

With the aforementioned Matryx technology, coupled with some of the best materials of the company, we are facing a model of great performance, which combines aggressiveness and safety, all at the same time, and with a lightness of the most outstanding, only 287 grams.
For its part, the Contagrip outsole maintains its aggressive character, following the rest of the Salomon Cross models and retaining a prominent and multidirectional tread pattern up to 5 millimeters thick. In addition, its considerable drop of 10 millimeters, the TPU reinforcements throughout the shoe or its traditional lacing system, will complete a new model that will not leave anyone indifferent.
