The brand new SpeedCross from Salomon are aiming for a new leap in quality, by including the S-LAB surname, top of the range saga designed by and for the runners of the international team of the French brand. So what corresponds to this new version of the Speedcros brings with it two basic characteristics: lightness and speed.
However, the S-LAB Speedcross remains a technical, fast and lightweight trail running shoe, which also stands out for an exceptional fit, and therefore a more than optimal support.
With its 8-millimeterdrop and tight last, the S-LAB Speedcross allows you to go closer to the ground, providing great sensitivity to the terrain, which translates into a very agile and responsive shoe. Being a technical and specific model, traction and grip on heavy and wet terrain is one of its great strengths, although this circumstance is detrimental to some loss of comfort.
In addition, the 280 grams, in the men's version, make the S-LAB Speedcross a valid option for short-distance trail competitions and training, and for moving with great efficiency on wet and heavy terrain, especially on slippery, muddy or puddled surfaces, and even on grass.
Likewise, the S-LAB Speedcross is indicated for experienced mountain runners with neutral tread; light-medium weight, not exceeding 80 kilos; and who have a good running technique.
