The Salomon Trailster is one of the most updated trail running shoes by the French firm Salomon. With this we refer to the special work they have dedicated from the brand, to get a shoe with an updated aesthetic, where you can choose from a wide variation of colors, which offers all kinds of colors, from the most classic to the most daring, in a design that can also be used in everyday use. But that's just a simple detail for those who attach great importance to color. The Trailster is one of Salomon's most innovative models, with a seamless upperthat offers extreme comfort. It is a very light and breathable shoe, which comes with the latest technology features, which we will detail below.
The upper of this shoe has a high quality mesh material as its main material, to which thermo-sealed overlays have been added to reinforce the areas most sensitive to wear. This area of the shoe stands out for the absence of seams and excellent breathability to keep the feet in optimum condition. Inside, an Ortholite insole has been used to keep the feet cool and dry and also to increase the feeling of comfort offered by the padded textile lining inside. The Trailster receives a good snug fit, which has been reinforced with a traditional lacing system, so you can customize your fit as you wish.
On the bottom we highlight a molded EVA foam for the midsole, which favors the lightness, getting a shoe that does not exceed 300 grams. And on the outside we have opted for the Wet Traction Contagrip outsole that will defend us very well from difficult terrain and especially on rocky surfaces. This shoe also features an Energy Cell system in the heel, capable of offering a more reactive stride, favoring the return of energy.
The Salomon Trailster is a shoe with a recommended use of no more than 3 uses per week, and that can fit perfectly with users who have started the trail modality or who have already been practicing for some time. It is a simple and light shoe, we do not recommend it for those who are going to prepare for long distances. This model is also available in a GTX version.
