Lightweight, durable and stable on the most demanding trails, the XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX® gains an aerodynamic profile and improved durability with a new sole design, plus the weather comfort of GORE-TEX®.

• Low-profile upper to facilitate foot movement.
• Reinforced tongue: Bridge that connects the tongue to the upper and prevents small stones from entering the inside of the shoe.
• Lace pocket: Allows to hide and protect the laces of the Quick Fit system.
• Protective rubber toe cap: The ideal solution to protect toes in mountain environments or on trails.
• Mud guard: Protective material around the sole of the shoe.
• Sensifit?: Sensifit system works to cushion the foot for a precise and secure fit.

• GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Footwear: Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Footwear keeps feet dry and offers a wide range of comfort. Designed for use in intense activities, Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Footwear is included in the adventure racing and mountain running ranges, where superior waterproof protection and high breathability are essential.
• Non-marking Contagrip® racing sole: Thanks to the combination of different Contagrip® hardnesses, Salomon s Adventure Running soles offer the perfect fusion of grip and durability for racing on mixed terrain at high paces. Designed with different flex grooves at specific points that improve the shoe's flexibility, self-cleaning and multidirectional lugs, and start and stop lugs. Outsole suitable for all types of Trail terrain. Race-tested to dynamically handle any terrain.
• 3D advanced chassis?: Salomons advanced, low-profile chassis, placed between the outsole and midsole, maximizes safety, traction control, energy management and overall protection for stable, high-performance response on the trail.
• Molded EVA: Molded EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning and stability.
• Dual Density EVA: Dual density midsoles provide superior cushioning, stability and motion control.

• OrthoLite®: OrthoLite® inner liner combines Ortholite® specific foam with EVA foam in the heel. Ortholite® foam gives the foot a better feel. Cooler, drier, hygienic and more comfortable. The durability of the sole has been improved compared to other models of the brand. Recycled tire compounds have been used in its manufacture to favor and protect the environment. The EVA heel cup provides a firmer heel support and a softer feel to the foot.
