The Gel Lyte V Sanze MT from Asics is a new bootie style version of the Gel Lyte V Sanze. This new silhouette is ready to face the coldest days, forget about getting cold feet in cold temperatures. The Sanze MT features an inner lining that keeps the foot perfectly warm, especially in the collar part of the shoe where we can see a very soft synthetic fur. This new version has a lower part identical to its previous version, composed of the latest GEL technology from Asics, capable of reducing and absorbing the impacts of the footstep with a superior quality.
In the upper we find some changes, in which we have to highlight the use of lateral overlays with reinforcement function in synthetic leather for the most sensitive areas to wear. In this model we see again the Asics logo on the side of these Sneakers. Additional details are the pull tabs on the heel and tongue. For a customized fit, a traditional lace-up closure has been chosen, similar to the one used in the previous version.
This model has a version with Goretex, providing a membrane capable of insulating your feet from cold and moisture. The downside is that the price goes up 20€. Perhaps it may be worth it if you know that you are going to use this model in very cold or rainy places. A point in favor that we found between the two versions is that the colorways of the GTX model have better combinations.
