The design of the ASICS Gel-Styrax is inspired by some of the brand's textile products series, such as the Mountain or Transcend range, to transport us to the environment of nature in our daily lives.

The upper features a design and grthat we can also find in the brand's Transcend series and where the striking color combination catches our attention from the very first moment.

The model of this model has a sabot-style structure, with the presence of a small puller on the upper, to make it easier to put on and take off the shoe, although due to its design it does not present great difficulties.

The shoe has protections, mainly in the front, to protect our feet from impact with external elements while we walk with them in environments that go beyond the asphalt of the big cities.

One of the main objectives when designing this model era achieve good stability during our daily situations despite not having a structured heel area. For this reason, the shoe has a wrap-around sole and a TRUSSTIC unit in the heel, which improve stability while wearing the shoe on a daily basis.

The midsole of the ASICS Gel-Styrax incorporates two of the brand's most prominent technologies. On the one hand, we have the Flyte Foam Blast Plus cushioning that provides good cushioning and a certain reactivity in each of our strides.

The FF Blast Plus technology is perfectly complemented by the popular Gel technology present and visible in the heel area that provides great absorption of impacts with the ground.

The outsole is divided into two parts, the rear and front, in which the large presence of rubber stands out, so we are guaranteed a good grip, even beyond the asphalt and, mainly, a great durability.

We are facing a model that does not fit a wide profile of athletes to use it daily mainly due to its peculiar design and a price, very high compared to other models of lifestyle shoes that exist in the market.

It is a shoe that stands out for its comfort and technologies that integrates and that can be used mostly in the hottest times of the year and for our more informal encounters of the day to day.
